Welcome Nat Kringoudis and thank you for sharing your favourite Maca (super fertility) slice with us! Nat is a Doctor of Chinese Medicine, Acupuncturist, Natural Fertility Educator, Author and Speaker. She founded, the Pagoda Tree in 2003, one of Australias leading Health and Natural Fertility Clinics based in Melbourne. Her approach is very practical and down to earth, it’s easy to follow and helps unravel the often neglected, but super important topic of Happy Hormones. When Nat refers to fertility she refers to a fertile body in a general sense, just like the soil in a garden needs to be fertile to produce healthy plants, so to do our bodies need to be fertile. And not simply to have healthy babies.
I interviewed Nat to get the low down on the ‘how to of Happy Healthy Hormones‘. Her enthusiasm for this important topic is infectious. We discuss:
- hormone health v our overall wellbeing,
- the role stress and our ‘guts’ have to play,
- her 5 top tips for creating happy hormones,
- building healthy kids and
- her one non-negotiable health routine.
This is such a BIG topic and we could’ve talked for ages, but kept it as short and succinct as possible. So if you want to take your health up a level – this is worth a listen, enjoy it & be inspired here.
Welcome Nat Kringoudis
This recipe didn’t last 5 minutes in my house! Whilst it isn’t fructose free, it is free from refined sugars – so as a special treat, I made this for the family this week. It is super easy and you can add in whatever you like! And of course just because it’s called my super-fertility maca slice doesn’t mean you’ll be busting babies all about the place – it does guarantee however you will be one healthy human – because fertility doesn’t necessarily equal babies.
Before we get into it – some of you have asked me just how much Maca you should be having. I say 1/2 – 1tsp daily but I advise many women to take it just for the second half of the cycle. In any case, give it a go – it’s a winner!
