Breakfast Banana Smoothie for Big and Little Kids

Breakfast Banana Smoothie for Big and Little Kids
Ingredients:

  • approx. 500ml (2 cups) milk of choice – ideally real milk, unpasteurised & unhomogenised or use a mix of water and milk.
  • 1 -2 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence or 1/4 tsp powder (optional)
  • 2 raw egg yolks or 1 Tbsp good quality protein powder e.g. one with whey concentrate
  • 1 tsp of raw unfiltered honey
  • 1 Tbsp dehydrated organic liver or organ complex (optional – you won’t taste it – promise.
  • 1/2 – 1 tsp organic ghee or coconut oil if tolerated

Directions:

  1. Add all the ingredients into a high speed blender and mix on high for about 1 minute!  Taste & add more sweetener if need be.
  2. Then, For the kids serve in a fun glass with a straw & enjoy!

Note

  • Add in any other ingredients you think the kids will enjoy e.g. we often mix it up with a tbsp of cacao, pinch of cinnamon, a tbsp of coconut oil or a tbsp of bone stock!  Can also add 1/2 cup organic frozen berries.  Whatever you know your family loves.
