Caramelised Butter Figs

Caramelised Butter Figs
Preparation:  2 minutes

Cooking:  5 – 10 minutes

Quantity:  4 people

Ingredients:

  • 6 fresh figs cut in half
  • 1 – 2 Tbsp organic butter
  • 1 Tbsp raw, unfiltered honey

Directions:

  1. Place the butter and honey into a pan on a medium heat.
  2. Melt together until well combined and add the figs to the pan.
  3. Cook for 3 – 4 minutes each side or until lightly browned and gently softened.
  4. Place onto plates and drizzle over the leftover butter and honey mix.  Or pop into the fridge for breakfast, snack or dessert anytime.
  5. Serve with coconut yoghurt, organic cream or home made ice cream!  Enjoy.

Notes:

  • Cook any surplus, seasonal fruit in the same way.
  • Or at step 3 place the pan into the oven on 180 degrees for 15 – 20 minutes or until cooked through.
