While people who are surviving cancer is increasing, the number of people being diagnosed is also increasing. The World Health Organisation states that rates of cancer will soar in the next 15 years. We have all been or will be affected at some time in our lives by this devastating disease.
There is no doubt that maintaining a strong immune system is an important component of preventing and surviving cancer and living a long, healthy life. Here are some tips for supporting a robust immune system and are the platform of my health coaching practice:
Being 'on purpose'
Enjoying the outdoors, including the sunshine
Enjoying good quality water
Moving each day
Developing healthy relationships
Enjoying nutrient rich wholefoods
Connecting with nature
Detoxing and reducing our toxic load
Sharing our passion
Getting back in the drivers seat and taking control of our health
Following these tips will help reduce stress and many of the activities that support cancer and a compromised immune system. Use them as a checklist or choose just one tip and start adding it into your routine, then when it's established and it's a way of life, choose another and so on. By adding in great, healthy choices, we squeeze out the unhealthy, energy zapping choices and can find abundance rather than deprivation in what good health has to offer.
